The 5-Star Co-op Program is an easy way for co-ops across the country to become or stay engaged in the Co-ops Vote campaign. The concept is simple: Earn stars for a variety of suggested activities to help promote the Co-ops Vote campaign, encourage civic engagement, and get your communities out to vote.
While the 5-Star Program allows for a variety of activities to encourage political participation in your communities, we encourage you to invite candidates to tour your co-op and meet your employees. You can find helpful information in our site visit how-to guide: Hosting Candidates at Your Co-op. Your statewide government affairs team will be scheduling in-district meetings with members of Congress during the first part of May. Participating in those meetings is an easy way to check one item off the 5-Star list.
