On June 9, legislators and leaders from Ohio’s electric cooperatives gathered at the Central Ohio Lineworker Training (COLT) facility in Mount Gilead to learn about COLT’s state-of-the-art programming.

Severe storms that occurred late on Monday, June 13, and into the early hours of Tuesday, June 14, have caused widespread outages across Ohio, including the territories of 22 of the state's 25 electric cooperatives.

During the May meeting, Butler Rural Electric Cooperative's board members voted for officers, which are elected annually.
